Rainbow's in the Night Sky

Sunday night, June 7th I was driving back home to Arizona from a week long vacation in California. I was tired and listening to music from the Lion King CD to help keep me awake. The sky was filled with clouds and it looked like rain, yet there was an indescribable stillness and beauty I could feel. I could see the Full Moon hiding from behind a thin veil of clouds, periodically peeking from behind them to say 'good evening.'
Shortly after crossing over the CA/AZ border I glanced up at the moon and in a split second moment viewed something I've never seen before, an amazing rainbow light show in the east lit up the night sky. I saw flashes of rainbow bolts shoot from the sky to the earth. I looked away briefly as I was still driving. I turned to glance at the moon again & there it was...another rainbow flash right before my eyes. I couldn't believe it! I looked in the direction of the moon one more time and there it was, another bolt of rainbow energy flashed from the night sky to mother earth. I witnessed this phenomenon three different times. I got chills and my mouth dropped. Did I just see what I thought I saw? Was that just my imagination? Did other tired and weary travelers see what I just saw? Was it all just a reflection of something through my car windshield and passenger window? I didn't know what to think. I kept looking toward the direction of the moon hoping to see another rainbow light show, all the while trying to keep my eyes on the road and alert to the traffic around me.
Wow, I thought to myself! That was amazing! How can I even begin to describe what I witnessed? Were the rainbows a sign? Were they a trail being made as guide for visitors to our planet? Would my friends believe me or would my story be held as fake as when humans claimed to have been abducted by aliens? Were they a portal for entry or exit to our earth or just another amazing shift in our atmosphere revealing more to come?
As I scribe this I sit with chills running throughout my body still amazed at what I witnessed.
Although my rainbow encounter was brief, I'll never forget it and with a dream in my heart to see it happen again, but wish for more peoples to witness this amazing light show experience.
